The sunflower is a plant native to North America where it was traditionally cultivated by the Indians for their food. Arrived in Europe in mid-sixteenth century, and was initially grown as an ornamental plant. The sunflower seed oil began to be consumed in Europe in the eighteenth century.


Mambá Sunflower Oil is industrially produced from sunflower seeds and is an important source of linoleic, acid EFA and vitamin E. Sunflower Oil Mambá is a product of top quality when used as frying oil, because stability of change by warming offers a superior performance. Mambá can be used also directly on the cold foods, salad dressings, mayonnaise, etc..
